Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

it's getting darker

Nightmares are dreams too

When Khyber approached first, Garmr felt an inkling of relief. Although he had enough cocky confidence not to be afraid of standing in enemy territory, it did give him backup should things turn wrong. Just because Khyber had been striped of his rank, did not render the stallion useless. Holding just enough faith in the Marauder that he wouldn’t stand back and just watch if Garmr was attacked.

The painted stallion’s words earned a small nod of his head in acknowledgement. The Peak General had been young, and it was of no surprised that she buckled and ran when things had gotten tough. But the Prime Minister had been an experienced mare that had managed to block him more times than not. It made no sense why she would have left too. There had to be more than what Khyber could tell him, as the painted mare who quickly followed stopped any conversation they might have gotten otherwise.

“Look who’s good at guessing games.” Garmr replied as Khar’pern answered for him. His green eyes narrowing on the ex-Prime Minister and he couldn’t help the smirk toying at his lips from their last meeting. To be strong was one thing, but to be cunning was another, and Khar’pern had fallen easily for his ploy that had freed the Lagoon stallions held hostage here last time. “It’s been awhile, ex-Prime Minister.” He greeted, taking the conversation to her. The painted mare wasn’t forgotten, but he doubted she would have anything useful to say.

“It seems the Peak has made it a habit of visiting the Lagoon whenever they please. I thought I would return the favor.” Garmr said casually. “I’m sure you can recall one particular visit, Khar’pern?” The Boss’ eyes glittered dangerously as he said her name, though his body remained standing at ease as if this wasn’t a tense meeting.

“I’m here to escort my Marauder home.” Garmr said, as if Khyber had simply wandered off. “Being as the Peak owes me a blood debt, I don’t see this as being a problem?” He gave a small tilt of his head in question, but the challenge was there as well. “I would hate to take my frustrations out on the mares in my care and accidentally lay them to rest beside my deceased General.” There was no bluff with Garmr, but if they tried to call it as one, they would quickly find it was not. How prideful were they; was Khar’pern, to chance it?
