It seems that the World Jai Alai League is now undocked from Magic City. The good news is that it would seem that Battle Court will be somewhere for some time to come.

The bad news would be if it left South Florida, I think. I would imagine a lot of those guys who are native or raised families would not be so quick to go to Rhode Island, for example. Being two hours away, it would be good for us Connecticut fans that remain.

I'm curious what the South Florida location would be. Calder?

Also, the fact that fans are let in for just one performance a week did not help their long term outlook and it is pretty obvious they don't care about the pelota games. If you are running without an audience, why would you do it on the middle of the afternoon on a weekday?

I have to admit early skepticism, but I really like Battle Court.
