Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Pan had been wandering the Lagoon, in truth she was looking for an escape route, but everywhere she turned eyes were watching. God damn stallions. She thought to herself.
Her mind kept replying what thranduil had said to her. About the truth about Nahawi. About how the Lagoon worked. About his comments of keeping her, but the possible price it would cost another life, a life she would have to bring into this world. And about Thranduil himself.

Thranduil. There was a complication issue. She trusted him but didn’t know why. She couldn’t work out why. Yes he was nice to look at but that shouldn’t be enough of a reason. He hadn’t been nasty to her. Not unless you count herding you here against your will! her mind reminded her. Why had he taken her anyway, she wasn’t sure.

And he spoke of how she wasn’t his. Meaning any other stallion was free to do as he wished. Unless you give him a innocent foal she wished her mind would shut up reminding her of things she really didn’t want to remember. She’d never really consider having a foal, like ever. Why would she after the childhood she had. But she could honestly say the thought didn’t horrify her as she thought it was. Even a foal with Thranduil didn’t horrify her, it should considering he was bargain the foal for a ‘perk’ in the lagoon. She wouldn’t subject a young life to this marsh pit.

And then there was Nahawi. She missed him, he was the first horse to ever show her kindness, but thranduil told of a different story. She wasn’t sure what to believe. Maybe she should ask the other captives here for answers, then again would they really be forthcoming, she wasn’t sure. She could admit she hadn’t really known Nahawi. There hadn’t been enough time to get to known him.

She sighed, once more looking around and froze. As if her thought had summoned him, there he was standing with another, a painted stallion. She shut her eyes, tossing her head to clear her head before opening her eyes again but he was still there. He was much more scarred up but he was there, in front other. She tried to speak, but nothing came out. Letting out a shaky breathe she tried again Nahawi her voice came out shaky and quiet as she stood, practically shaking from disbelief and shock.
