Wrinkling her lip with her eyes hardening, Bubbles watched a stallion come out of the woodwork. Her long black tail lashed out, snapping against her body with a loud crack. Irritation was clear upon her face, marking the buckskin blanket mare with a sickening touch. She hated stallions, especially ones she did not know, and most certainly the ones from the Lagoon. She had too many run-ins with the dark nature of that gender so far and little to none at all with her own gender. It was jaw dropping if she really thought about it and even if she had grown up near Nahawi, she had watched him fail and his failure tainted the image in her head of ones that were better in morals than the Lagoon.
“Creep.” She snapped at his first bit of wording. Her dark lips and two toned face became even more stone cold. Her ears tucked tight to her head before she stomped a front hoof. “No matter. You already spoke and your hoof found itself where it should not be.” That foal she had been playing with was not someone that needed to be watched by a strange stallion. It was creepy and made her fur stand on end. He could easily be a decent stallion, but already her mind was made up as she lowered her head and walked towards him, ears tucked tight to her head and teeth bared.
Closer and closer she drew, but before she could land a bite to him, she stopped abruptly with her body twitching. “You might want to watch your next steps very carefully.” Her voice grew to a hiss, her teeth grinding together. She might not be a kind sort, but she cared for the duo that had been here and the sisters up in the mountain. “What really has you here? Stalking a mare and foal is not gonna look good on your rapport.”
