What if life was full of fairytales? (Helios)

It felt like only yesterday that the flutter in her heart was a reality. Helios had been there and soon a child had been growing deep in her womb. His child. As time grew nearer though; Gloriosiah had began to slink into the shadows. Away from the herd initially but tucked deeper into their home. When the cream and white child had come into the world, Glory had welcomed a visit from Helios as the child grew. Their precious boy. Sonar. Now he was almost a year and becoming quite the handsome young colt.

"Sonar, come my boy. It is time you get to know our home and those in it." The boy untangled himself from the sand beneath his body. He sleepily opened his eyes and climbed to his feet. Slowly he trudged after his mother after shaking the sand from his body.

They were definitely a matched pair. Both cream and white. It had been a little while since Helios had come for a visit but now Gloriosiah was coming to find him. There is pride in her eyes for the gorgeous boy coming alongside her as they moved. He had grown quite a bit though he was far from done. There is much left to teach Sonar but now his sire would be playing a more active role in his life.

Finally they pull to a pause nearer the mingling herd members. Gloriosiah is quick to pick Helios out of the family nearby. She calls pleasantly toward him. Her tone is soft but clear. "Helios." It was short and sweet but it was friendly. Gloriosiah had a warm tone. No more shadows. It was time to get to know him better as well as their family herd.

Gently she would brush her nose to greet the approaching stallion if he let her before moving to lightly nudge the boy closer to Helios. "Sonar, say hello to your father." The boy brings his face up to let those brilliant honey colored eyes to focus on the stallion directly in front of him. That fuzzy nose slowly stretching up to try and touch his father's own. No words in the moment but none had been needed quite yet. The cute gesture was enough.
