Sale of my collection Posted on February 26, 2025 at 06:51:21 PM by Mark K.
Hi, all. What a great time I had at the tournament! Even the regular players played great (with the exception of the serve issues). The kid kid Urreisti...from Mexico and NOT Mutrico, by his own words looks to be capable of winning a world championship some day, once he learns to control his temperament and not to rush his kill shots. What talent, and he learned from his uncle who played only amateur and never pro...and the kid is only 20 YEARS OLD!!! I was impressed by nearly all the youngsters and zTambour, the wily veteran played out of his mind all three days of the tournament.
Okay, back to my purpose. Some of you know that my entire collection is available for sale, and with the exception of a few "gems", at prices way below what I am seeing on eBay. If anyone is looking for a program to fill a hole in your collection, or photos, post cards, pins, books on hai alai, contact me at emkay517@aol.com. I am gettingbold we and have been collecting for three decades and have stuff I paid a handsome penny for, but I am old and it is time to let a new generation of collectors carry the torch . Reasonable offers will not be refused, but you guys gotta contact me with your requests. A few of my gems have already been sold, so now is your chance to get what you have been looking for.
Thank you and can't wait until December and a new season.
A closing thought...I recognize that due to visa restrictions the players can only be here for a 90 day season maximum. I was wondering if there are enough additional talented players in the Basque country to create a SECOND roster of completely different players and consequently have the wherewithal to create a second 3 month season with all new players.
