hushed be all water

The stars are in blossom
the moon is in flower

Mazikeen held herself in a way Vána did not. Though she had thrown her name in the choices for lead mare she was still not sure she could manage. She was not a fighter, but where she wasn't tough physically she found her mental state more up to par. Everything thst happened with her family gorwing up had broken her down and built her back into the mare she was today. Still sweet, kind, and soft hearted, but she could stand up if the situation called for it. She felt this might be one of those situations.

Green eyes search Mazikeen for answers until finally the mare does. Her voice is rougher than what she was used to, but nothing that offended her. She was too interested in learning is Mazikeen had any answers to what was going on between their leader and Lucifer. The large black stallion was not a horse she would have picked a fight up. Perhaps Helios did require some of her guidance. She nods as Mazikeen confirms that Helios was keeping things from them. How could they help if they didn't know the situation?

The spotted mare then suggest they could demand answers for Helios. Vána wasn't typically the demanding type, but this type of situation calls for it. When it came to her children she would walk to the moon if she could. "I agree." She nods her pale head with determination. It wasn't soon after her response that a stranger shows up. Vána whirls around to face him as her ears tip backwards. She didn't know if he was a friend or foe just yet, but judging the way he spoke of Helios she assumes the later.

Mazikeen was quick to respond while she keeps quiet. The spotted mare was quick witted enough to reply. Vána nods at the fact Helios old be along to chase him away. She knew this considered he had been the one to save her before. She was so tired of stallions praying on her and her family. Then the oddly marked stallion directs an odd notion to Mazikeen. Vána watches the mare's response with interest. It wouldn't be a surprise if she agreed considering Helios had lost her son. She was kind of glad the mare made a questioning response instead of just agreeing.

She may have lost her partner in getting to the bottom of Helio's mess if she had. Just like that Helios appears. He makes his own comment at the stranger before touching Mazikeen and then placing a kiss on her cheek. Helios mentions something about this stranger had campaigned for kingship. Was this yet another stallion that would be after Helios now? She signs, but her eyes never leave the stranger's.
