🌙
Canis waited quietly as she thanked him, watching as she deliberated and then decided to lie on the ground. He had hoped she would do such a thing upon seeing the scope of her exhaustion. His pale lips twitched in a smile as Hellfyre drifted off to sleep mid-sentence. It was a bit more dangerous for her to rest lying down, but it would help the mare recover all the quicker. With a nod to himself, the silver grullo walked into the trees to seek Emhyr and enlighten him about their new arrival.
Once he'd spoken with his lead and his sons (newly-appointed guards), the Advisor didn't go far from the bay mare as she slept. He wanted to be nearby when she woke and close lest the strangers she spoke of find her and she need aid fending them off. His ears, grullo gray and white, twisted toward the various sounds of the forest as his dappled form roamed beneath the boughs. Canis snorted once, the air of it fluttering pale nostrils, as he decided to look in on Hellfyre again. She'd been sleeping last time he checked, but the splash male was pleased to find her awake and standing.
"Hellfyre," he said warmly, his head bobbing in a nod of greeting. His eyes flick over her form once, checking for any changes since the last he saw her and finding nothing. The silver-cream length of his tail twitched once, the pale ends of hair whispering past hock and canon. "Did you rest well?"
