At first he thinks that maybe she understood the language of his family as she speaks it back to him. Of course she then follows up by saying she had no idea what latha math meant. He smiles despite the disappointment because it was cute. It would be rare for him to actually find someone that understood what he was saying. It was nice to have someone like his leader who was willing to learn. He continues on despite the confusion of her face. He was becoming much too nervous to even ask her about it.
Then she does this cute little tilt of her head while saying she didn't understand anything he said. His eyes widen. Was she of a different foreign tongue? Maybe she could only speak a little bit of English. It instantly made him wonder how his grandmother nativigated this land. The pretty mare speaks again, bringing him back into reality. Oh, right he was standing in front of this pretty girl. His cheeks flush as she asks what a Forest was and what would would be joining. She then follows by saying she was obviously alone.
Dagfa shifts nervously. Duh, of course. "Uh," He sputters out. A sigh quickly escapes him as she suggests they just start over. He gives her one slow nod. "Dagda is my name." He reiterates his name considering they were starting over. "I live in a place called the Forest and it is a forest. Very beautiful," His voice trails off to a whisper. "Like you." He shifts nervously with dark auburn eyes darting away from her gaze. "I have just been given the status of a sub-lead in my home and I am allowed to make a herd of my own. I, uh, saw you alone and thought maybe you might want to join me. "
Slowly, his eyes find hers again. "Are you fluent in English?" He is still curious if she didn't speak English well.
