With his club held high

It was relaxing standing leaserly under this tree chatting with Baba Yaga. The background sound of the rain on the branches above helps set the tone for the moment. Every now and then a stray drop would hit him, but it didn't bother him. He was too invested in this moment without even realizing it. Baba Yaga says that she loves the Forest. She says it feels like home so he smiles. "I am glad to hear that." It almost felt magical as he speaks. "If you can learn to listen to the trees they will call you back here, back home."

His eyes close as the wind gently tugs at his mane. Almost as if his lost family were here with him in this moment. Just like that, all his recent guilt and heartache was melting for this moment. But as his troubles began to melt away, his Queen seems to have a different reaction. He notices that stiffness in her body as she speaks about her troubles. He was surprised she was even telling him any of this at all. It meant a great deal. He listens with the intent to help with advice, but he had no way of knowing the exact situation or those invovled.

Then she mentions someone named Zion. He mauled over what he should say then Baba Yaga sighs. She says she just didnt know what was the right thing to do. "Well," He starts. "I guess you gotta figure out how you really feel about this mare." He didn't really understand what Baba Yaga might feel for a mare, but what did he know? She could be family for all he knew. "Life doesnt wait for you to make a decision. If she means something to you then fight for her. If your peace here becomes compromised then you will have to decide who or what is more important. " Surely she knew this already, but maybe it would help hearing it out loud.

"I will stand by you for as long as you treat this Forest with the respect it deserves. If I become a captive I will do it to serve the purpose that you may find your happiness and keep this forest safe." what a proclamation from a stallion who has only talked to his leader a few times. It was true that this home meant more to him than life itself. He would die for it.
