Who do you Root for in MC BC?

Hi. This thread is for people who watch Magic City Battle Court. If you do not watch it for whatever reason, "Fine, that's fine!" You do you, but this thread is not for you or your reasons.

Instead, this thread is for anyone who does watch it.

Unsolicited, I was explaining to Nate of the God Bless Jai-Alai Show on YouTube, who I root for in Magic City Battle Court. He is a die-hard Cyclones fan, which is a painful thing to be this season.

That got me wondering: who do you, the participants of Tiger's Jai-Alai Chalk Talk, root for? In BC, do you root for a whole team like Nate does and experience the thrills of victory and the agonies of defeat? If so, which one and why? Do you stick with them through personnel changes?

Or are you a magical person, blessed with inner peace, cosmic vision and equanimity like Stu Neiman, Buckaroo Banzai and The Buddha, who (close to unbelievably) do not root for anyone but instead are just glad for good play?

Or are you like me? I root for individual players from all the teams. In fact, I have a hierarchy of the whole roster and a partially conscious flowchart in my brain that tells me who to root for in any given game, doubles or singles.

It is based on 1) Playing style. I prefer accurate, tactically crafty, aggressive play from frontcourters/singles players and very few unforced errors from backcourters. And then 2) Who I perceive the players to be. Which I admit is only based on their interviews and court sportsmanship. I could be way, way off base for all I know.

When it comes to player personalities, I prefer humble and smiling over not. Insightful, articulate speaking from native English speakers, goes a long way with me as well. Non-native English speakers get a pass. Yeah, not much to go on, as I said lol.

Anyway, you get the idea. I am making judgments on very little information. So my hierarchy is fairly arbitrary and subject to change.

OK enough of my blabbing; here is your best chance to let the World (or at least me) know who you root for in Battle Court (and why)! Or, you can not answer and forever know in your heart of hearts that you are just a cowardly, Boring Boob and always will be! =p

And if no one answers, I will know that I am surrounded here by such!

P.S. How the hell do you spell frontcourter and backcourter? Do you put a hyphen in between? Firefox Spellcheck hates it either way. It also hates any spelling of Jai-Alai and lol.
