Fantasies were just that. He may think he wants a good companion now, but it was a fleeting idea. What mare could honestly put up with his crap while also beating down their enemies? What mare would choose to have the same enemies as him? That same goals? Besides he was far off from ever settling down or having any children. Though it would be nice to continue his father's bloodline one day. Father would be happy about that as he had told him to now allow it to die. Of course he wasn't ready for all that yet. He did need the cover of a female to keep pretending herd life was his mission.

Isla could help him in this. Even if he let her go after he would need these skills to gain a new cover. "Well," She begins and he listens. Waits to hear what she was about to say next with curiosity. The tension between them was still there, but for once he was actively listening to what she had to say. He finds it hard not to roll his eyes when she finslly does give some advice. So ask a lady questions like you are interested, got it. Pretend to care blah blah blah.

Then she says something confusing. Her accent comes out as jibberish to him which only shows as frustration across his face. Her next set of words were a bit better, but he still had to decipher it in his head. The just of it was to not lie. This time he does snort. "In the art of not lying your accent is damn hard to understand." He grumbles. "Don't lie and tell a girl she is pretty. Is that it?" He asks. This lesson was proving to be difficult. Not that the information was tough, but it was harder to put into practice.
