I think it was more Goixarri ducking in the right direction to get out of the way of the ball. With such little time to react, I think Goixarri just got lucky to not get hit.

Carballo's reaction afterwards told me that he did not know that it's not the right thing to do in that situation. The training he received most likely did not cover what to do when you have the ball and also have your opponent trapped inside against the side wall. I'm sure he knows now.
