Don't follow BC, but looking at those stats, I wonder what is the rationale behind designing a system that has more ties than wins?

Sports fans in general prefer decisive outcomes, so it seems weird.

FWIW, in the interest of objectivity, you can always ask ChatGPT or Deepseek, "Is there any evidence that sports fans prefer events with decisive outcomes instead of ties?"
