What just transpired between them was nothing he had planned. Adding a member to the Forest had been his only goal here. He hadn't expected to actually like the mare he just met. He also didn't expect that after their magical moment that he would feel guilt. Dagda leads her into the sea from where they stopped to rest and swims towards Luthien. Eventually, they make it safely to the shore of the Forest.
Soon after he shakes off the water dripping from his coat, his eyes turn to Amber as she begins to clean her coat from the journey. He admires how beautiful she was, his cheeks flushing, when suddenly her gaze turns to him. He straightens himself instantly with an awkward wobble as he attempts to hide his boyish admiration. He may be heading towards the middle of his adult life, but he still had trouble around the fairer sex.
He smiles as she begins to aproach him with a smile of her own. Amberlyn brushes up close enough that he could feel the heat from her body and the dampness of her coat. The pale mare comments on the naming of his home to which he nods. She then looks at him with a smile thst confuses him. His large head tilts slightly not knowing what she was up to, but he sighs in relief when she asks to be shown around. "I would love to show you around." He smiles thinking about how he also showed Baba Yaga around.
"I didnt name this place, but I supposed it had the most trees of any of the other lands. This whole island is full of trees and greenary." He begins to walk and guide Amber closer to the start of the treeline. "I love it here. My Māthair was born and raised here." He had wished he had been born here too, but life hadn't worked out that way. He had still grown a quick liking to the Forest the moment he came to live here. He felt his soul have a natural connection to the land.
