Meeting the perlino dun had been unexpected. The heated night they had spent together had been even more surprising. Despite their unexpected (and rather fast) acquaintance, the young paint stallion was not planning on shying away from it. Alioth was lonely for company, despite the constant presence of his nearly two year-old son. He craved the comfort, the peace and acceptance that he'd managed to find in Daffodil, his son's mother who'd left the Lagoon a year ago. This golden mare could present a new opportunity to find that feeling again.

Dark, dewy nostrils vibrated thickly in a gruff snort as the mismarked male made his approach. A plume of vapor from the exhalation rose into the icy air. A new layer of snow had fallen in the night, and it crunched pleasingly beneath his hooves. His dark ears twitch toward the sound of her voice. He thought perhaps there was a taunt somewhere in her words, as though she might be baiting him. A smirk tugged precociously at the perceived invitation.

"I don't know what you mean," he stated coyly. His brown eyes flick over her a tad impishly, more forward and, yes, playful than the brute had felt in some time. His voice thrummed with amusement as Alioth ventured closer to her golden body. "I think things have already gone quite well, don't you?" Bolder still does the Lagoon brother offer his muzzle for an initial greeting touch to her, eager to see if she returned the gesture or let him brush his lips against her cheek.
