I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother. If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit. Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Arkadi might have been born quieter than his sister, but that didn�t make him any less curious about the world around him. At almost a year old, that curiosity had grown tenfold, as had his bravery. But under the watchful eyes of mother, and even more watchful eyes of baba, it was hard to satisfy that curiosity. Yet, somehow, as his family napped at the base of the Peak; Arkardi was still awake. Although he knew he shouldn�t, he still gathered up his bravery, and silently snuck away. He needed to see more. Arkadi didn�t plan to go far, maybe just the Falls since that was supposed to be safe and hopefully be back before anyone managed to wake up.

Wrapped up in his first adventure, Arkadi explored the Falls much longer and further than he meant to. But just as he was realizing this, and meant to return, his golden eyes caught sight of the thickest stand of trees he had ever seen. Plus, the smell of stallion was nearly overwhelming where he was used to the strong smell of mare. Was this the Lagoon that mother had warned him about? Was it as bad as she made it out to be? Maybe he would just peek over the border, not actually enter it, and see what it was like.

Sure of his decision, and that he would still be safe, Arkadi approached the border with ears perked and eyes alight with that burning curiosity that would one day get him in serious trouble.
