those teams. I've followed them on and off over the years, but don't consider myself a big fan (M football curb stomped my Pacer fandom). I do think this is one of the most likeable Pacer teams in years tho.

Before he died, Robin Miller (known more for his auto racing reporting) used to hang out at my gym and tell some hilarious stories about ABA teams from that old era. Apparently, after games, the home team players would drive over to the visitor's hotel, pick the guys up and take them out to the bars with them.
I can't imagine that happening today.
