We were on vacation in SD in 2019 when they had the pilot program with LA as first in the US. It was the wild wild west. They had zero geofencing, or governors. People were busting down the PB boardwalk at 25mph. We road them one day all the way from La Jolla to the zoo, including on some paved walking / biking trails. Such a fun half week down there on the beach

had perfect weather the entire time and we hit the zoo on the changeover to DST so we got to stay an extra hour before they closed and saw pretty much everything.
