This is nonsense. The DNC made it clear Hillary was the chosen one and made sure any other serious contenders stayed out. Bernie was an outsider and independent most of his career.

They threw that against him constantly. DWS was head of the DNC at the time and a clear Clinton neophyte. They were angry Bernie defied the order to clear the way for Hillary.

The primary was open in name only. The DNC made sure Hillary was the nominee.

This is poppycock. The DNC didn't do shit in 2020. A few candidates banded together to stop Sanders's momentum, but there were no DNC leaders puppeteering the entire thing, because the DNC (and the RNC) are toothless organizations that have no power in and of themselves.
