It felt like summer was flying by. The past few seasons since he told Pan how he felt (in his own round about way) had gone fast. He felt like a different stallion entirely. Changed, perhaps, but Maybe just more mature. He wanted to grow a family and so, he began to think of next steps. Before his loyalty was solely to his brothers in the Lagoon and now he had her. In order to protect her he would need to strike a deal with Garmr. Even his position of power may not save Pan, but he could try.
Placing Pan as his companion was a no Brainerd. What about Cholena? He wasn't sure what she wanted his protection or if Garmr would block him from keeping two mares safe. Safe...it was odd he was even thinking about keeping others safe. Anyway, one thing was clear. He would need to make a move as the Marauder to keep his position and earn Garmr's favor. It didn't matter how highly he thought of his Boss. It was clear his Boss thought better of Khyber.
Rain drenched his coat as he walks to the commons. The place was nearly empty save for a young stallion watching something along the flowers. He wasn't in the mood for making friends, but this was exactly the kind of horse he needed to find. Someone to add to his brothers so that he may use him to gain protection for Pan. "Are you ready?" He says loudly as he aproaches the young stallion. Thranduil remembers vividly when he was around his age. Chasing Garm and Peyote as they annoyed Nahawi and chased him from the Lagoon. Pale legs slow to a stop close to the bronze colored stallion.
"I will be your guide to your new life." He says ominously as his lips reach to nip his hide. "A life of brotherhood." He pulls away with a grin.
