Restlessness was beginning to set in with the sterling stallion. Although it was quite normal for peace to be a common factor on the island of Atlantis, the silence that accompanies it is unsettling.

Fluted lobes tilt forward and back again as fierce yellow-gold eyes scan the beachscape that stretched before him. Since his claim on Paradise, there has been one unfamiliar face or another to interlope and test his borders, hell even his neighbor had waltzed right on in for a visit, ignoring the carefully stamped fence. Whether it was meant to taunt or test him, the wolf has not quite decided. But the chimera’s pointed silence since has left him more than a little on edge.

A heavy sigh escapes his lips as the sterling stallion gives his thick, dark mane a quick shake. Perhaps it was time for him to take action. He had delivered his nephew to Garmr, but so far, even Khyber had not come for another visit, much less sent the agreed-upon captive. If nothing else, he needed to visit and find out why not, maybe even roam the common island a little more to see what strays he might uncover hiding in the brush. That meant leaving Hymn and Promise again, but at least he felt a bit more secure with Akkadian running around than he did with Lucifer haunting the shadows. He still didn’t know all that much about the young stallion, but at least he seemed respectful enough.
