This is a simple explanation. Those polos are not fire-rated. EMS doesn’t have to worry about it. And yes, you can say neither are the 5:11 pants, polyester tshirts, or most underwear/socks members wear. But they cannot just issue items that members wear in fire conditions

I just looked on Lions website, they don’t even sell work polos.
