Will pays confusions

I was watching Meadowlands Harness, and on the Pik 6 wager, after 5 races, the track shows the amount of money still alive on the each of the posts on the final leg. This is a 20 cent wager.

On a few of the will pages, the alive dollars were things that I don't compute. 1 post had 20 cents, so that's logical...one live ticket wins the pool, but some of the others shows $1.49, $1.29. That doesn't make sense. You can't wager 29 cent base or whatever. So what is going on here?
