Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to

and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Kythri (Khyber x Lavender)
Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Melancholy blue eyes peered across the width of the channel to the island held within the far-reaching arms of the Lagoon. Many long minutes did Dior spend running her gaze up and down the thick trees and scatterings of beach across the water before turning the foremost of her focus back to the shore she currently occupied. It was easier to look over there and see what had changed over the last four years than to look down the hook of shoreline and see how different it really was. After all, Dior had spent the first year of her life on this beach. It had arguably been the best one, despite her mother's efforts.

With a heavy sigh, Dior turned away from the once familiar sight and plodded back in the direction of the trees. Rough particles of sand and dirt coated the mare’s fetlocks, staining their pale hue to a muddy grey as she walked. The sooty dunalino did her best to clear her mind, but the nostalgia that she hoped would lift her spirits had had the opposite effect instead. Too full was Dior's mind as she walked-- of her father's eyes, her mother's smile, and giggling with her sister-- that the tobiano barely registered the distance she'd covered. When she stepped past a treeline and saw who stood there, the young mare's head raised upward suddenly in surprise. She'd, without thinking, gone to find him. "Oh.. I-I'm sorry. I didn't.."
