"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to

and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Kythri (Khyber x Lavender)
Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

when you search the dark, you get dark things

"The others here might wish to harm you, but I don't." His voice was low, hushed compared to his words just moments before. Saphris had to tilt the dark half of her face toward the male so that she might hear him better. It lent a degree of intimacy that she was desperate to ignore but could not. If he didn't want to hurt her, then. . . what did he want? Her blue eyes dipped slightly to eye the male a tad apprehensively, appraising him.

Words began to leave his lips. She realized it was advice. He mentioned a mare.. Pan? That she should stick close to her. The sabino maiden trembled a moment later, feeling the smoky cream's nose leave her belly to stretch over the the sway of her back. Thrilling sensations danced along her nerve endings as he spoke: "She is my mate." The sense of urgency in his voice pulled the maiden in, dizzying her as Thranduil spoke once more, urging her not to tell anyone.

She found herself muttering that she wouldn't, the words only vague murmurings as she felt Thranduil's body heat stretch along her side. He spoke-- ". . I can watch over you, too, if you stick close,"-- but the young mare was distracted. So foreign was the sweet warmth that trailed down her spine that, caught off-guard, Saphris lost her balance. White-freckled hips swayed, blue fur of flank and hindquarter brushing against the pale flat of his shoulder. The two year-old's eyelashes fluttered as she turned her head away from the stallion, unable to look the cream paint in the eye.

"If she's your mate," her black lips murmured breathlessly, "then what am I?"
