Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

The Offspring

Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Kythri (Khyber x Lavender)
Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Such is the nature of evil

Pan was smart. She knew exactly what he was feeling and she knew they needed to be careful. He didn't even need to tell her this for her to understand. He does notice the change in her eyes as she begins to speak on the changes in the Lagoon. He sighs in response as the tension gathers on his shoulders. She was correct and he knew it all too well. The only reason he had been awarded the ranked position in the first place was because Khyber had been taken by the Peak. "I know," He says lowly.

He is silent for a moment and so was she. It was clear she was thinking if what to say next so he allows her the time. Her voice fills his ears once again mentioning his love for the Lagoon. His head lowers as he thinks. It would be a hard decision is he left. He once ran with these stallions as if they were one. Rank, position, didn't matter. Now there were rules and duties and those closest to the Boss got special treatment. It should have been him.

Would he really not worry about others if he left? With what he knew he wasn't sure that would be the case. Or maybe his own little family would be enough for a distraction. He couldn't save everyone. "I have never thought about leaving until recently. Until I met you." It was Pan that was changing everything. He now cared and he now wanted things. Her muzzle brushes against him again, bringing his eyes back to hers. I trust you. He smiles. She then asks him to trust his instincts. He nods.

"Let me think on it longer. It will take a lot of planning if we do decide to do anything. We will need help." But who? He wonders if that mare from the Ridge would be willing. It didn't feel right to ask the Peak with everything Garmr has done. He feared he would be killed on the spot, but Pan might be able to ask for their help.
