Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Nightmares are dreams too

Garmr is not disappointed in the fire that the young golden stallion spews. Though how to handle it, the Lagoon Boss wars with himself over. To make the boy submit under him physically; placing the first mark on his pristine coat, and letting him taste his first dose of pain? Or to laugh him off and make a mockery of his supposed knowledge that made him feel powerful enough to behave in such a manner. Just as Garmr came to a decision, Khyber decided to join them.

The Marauder held little issue with making a retort, saving the boy from a much harsher reprimand than the Boss was about to give. Garmr passed Khyber a glance, having not seen him much since his return to the Lagoon. The Boss had not worried about his tactics of retrieval bothering the painted stallion, though he did wonder where he had been off to?

“I have no reason to start anything, kid.” Garmr said casually now as his attention returned to Cahyr. “Not starting with your name. Not starting with your training. Not starting with your entertainment as a spoiled, entitled herd colt.” But that wouldn’t truly benefit the Lagoon, would it? And a lazy Boss would not hold Boss title long.

“If you want something from us, you’ll have to earn it. So you can start by scurrying off to whatever Island makes you happy, cause chaos, then come back. Simple as that.” As if it couldn’t be bloody, and dangerous, and some herd stallion wouldn’t kick some sense into the temperamental kid’s head. “Or sulk here like a child for the rest of eternity.” Garmr shrugged. “That’s the freedom of your choice.”
