and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

when you search the dark, you get dark things

”You are…”The memory of Thranduil’s voice ghosted over her skin, elliciting a tremble as the sensation of his rasping words sent a renewed thrill of nervous anticipation through her body. ”Beautiful..” The tension between the two adults heightened to the point of breaking. Her resolve to rebuff him slipped, then dissipated into mist as the fog of instinct took over. Saphris felt the warmth of the stallion's body envelop hers.. and then she startled awake.

It was the second (third?) time the blue dun had woken up in such a manner. The knowledge that the encounter was having such an effect on her vexed Saphris—especially since she vividly remembered the look of regret on Thranduil's face afterward. The expression on his face had cut through the cloud of any lingering enjoyment. Saphris been bewildered for a heartbeat until the information clicked into place. Yes, Thranduil thought her beautiful, but he had not intended to mount her.

The sound of his apology had been but a murmur in the maiden's ears. It was drowned out by sadness and an overwhelming sense of shame, the likes of which she had not felt before. Saphris had tearfully taken off on her own after that. She had successfully avoided the creamy male so far and was trying to keep herself from seeking him out again. It wasn't going well.

In an effort to cool herself off, the young mare had been heading toward a beach on the southern side of the Lagoon. She had thought she was alone as the blue dun darted through the trees. However, a feminine voiced called to her, a hushed question. They knew her name? Mismatched ears twisted toward the voice as Saphris slowed to a stop. She'd only just spotted the bay-spotted mare when Saphris acknowledged her, her voice full of apprehension. "Yes?"
