When the bell rings, we hear our last thought. Posted on July 19, 2025 at 10:13:22 PM by Snapdragon
They always said that curiosity killed the cat. They weren't lying persay, but myth is that cats give nine lives. If you were to put that myth to horses, Snapdragon was probably on her fourth and even though she was happy in the Harbor with her sire and lover, she found herself itching to explore. That is why she found herself roaming outside of the Harbor. Vadim and Finley might not entirely like her roaming, but she honestly didn't know and entirely didn't care.
Moving through the jungle, the mare tucks under hanging vines and around tree trunks. Her pale frame could be seen like a ghost in between the big trunks, but her body begins to slow its forward pace when a scent from the past hits her nostrils. Tilting her head, the multi hued mare narrows her eyes before her ears pin and her nostrils wrinkle. She knew this scent and she wasn't exactly expecting it to return to Atlantis. Tossing her head up, she flicked her long forelock out of her face for a moment to allow full vision.
Turning this way and that with her neck, Snapdragon sucked in a deep breath. She was not in the Harbor, so she held no actual place to stand upon, but she had a home and could not be claimed. Lowering her head, the bright mare pawed the ground and let out a snort as she heard hooves coming her direction. “I hear you and smell you. Come out of the shadows.”
