Akkadian was.. still surprised that he was hearing the young mare laugh. She seemed playful, and he liked that, overall, she didn’t seem unhappy to be here. This was completely foreign to the young stallion. It was lucky to be going as well as it was. His eyes were glued to the pale mare and every long stride she took to stand right at the edge of the crashing waves. She was like moonlight in motion, utterly breath-taking. His hormones surged as the attraction he felt for her grew, then again when the white mare dared to touch the water again.
Humor ticked the corner of his dark mouth up into a smirk. Akkadian could tell she was testing him, flirting with the path their relationship would take… and he relished the tension rising between them. The leopard male turned and sauntered forward, every movement lined with a hidden power. Citrine eyes dipped from her face to the hoof she’d planted in the water as he moved, path arcing into the surf as though to block her way back into the ocean. “You’re free to go anywhere you like.. within Paradise,” he crooned.
The stallion stood fully before the white mare now as the saltwater washed against his fetlocks. His gaze conveyed his amusement and the baser impulse that lurked. “Should you prefer a game of chase however..” Kade’s voice dripped with a confident allure, a heady darkness lingering promisingly beneath it. His citrine eyes tracked up her legs with a slow sensuality, lingering where the water clung to the pearly fur of her chest before meeting the mare's eyes directly. “I’m happy to oblige.”
