Re(1): 2025 World Super Court Pairings at Magic City

Thanks Jailife16. I am looking forward to this.

Jairo-Lopez (Defending Champions)
Can Lopez win it all again using pure Will and Skill like he did last year? He pretty much caught everything and threw with force and intent. I think teams need to target the front court and Jairo, if Lopez is going to be on form again.

Iturbide-Bailo
If Iturbide is in the zone, they can go far.

Laloo-Bixente
2 natural front-courters. Bixente in the back? Seems like a waste. Laloo has moments of brilliance but overall he is not aggressive enough for my taste.

Robin-Ron
2 front courters right? Both of these guys can be crafty but can they keep the errors down? Ron does much better playing front than back, in my opinion. But perhaps that will make him try even harder.

Urrutia-Nicolas
Urrutia simply has to play up to his potential on the short court. He did not do so in the last battle court final. Nicolas is a wall. Just kill the point Urrutia! Don't wait! Don't be shy! Don't think! Be the Sword. Wait, what am I talking about?

Zulaika-Ubilla
This is an interesting combo. Ubilla was playing very well last season. I wonder if he continues to improve. Zulaika has 2 sides to him: the amazing, can beat anyone side and the too many unforced errors side. Here's hoping that he pulls it together and brings his A game.

Arbe-Salegi
I don't know anything about these two. Do you? There is some YouTube video footage of Salegi I am going to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wk4-fuGAwjY

Benetrix-Libois
Again, 2 natural front-courters. If they can keep the errors down, they might have a chance. Both of them have grown and improved on the long court, since I first saw them.

Douglas-Benny
It will be fun to see these two in action again! Especially because there was no YouTube footage of their victory over Mexico.

I wonder how aggressive or not Douglas will be.

Goixerri-Aratz
I imagine these guys want revenge for last year. I hope they get it. Goixerri - bring the thunder and don't forget the drop shot!

Ikeda-Manny
A very defensive team. I wonder how far they will go with that style.

Inaki-Manu
Sigh. They have the potential to be the very best. But when was the last time they played up to their full potential at the same time, for an entire match?
