You have to learn to
enjoy the pain
If you want to survive the game
The once bright orange and pinks fade to a purple and finally to black. It doesn't take long for the stars to begin popping up to light their way. There was a lot to do and it could easily be forgotten with beautiful scenes and a beautiful lady. Even from where she stood (closer I shall add) it was almost like he could feel the warmth of her skin. A dangerous move with the season, but Nico prides himself in being a gentlemen. He keeps his eyes on the stars as she speaks. The soft way she says his name sends a shiver down his spine.
No, He thinks.
Even a seasoned stallion like himself can fall prey to circumstance. It didn't help when she said some flirty things like she was doing now.
"Especially with you." Her voice echos in his head as he grows quiet. He attempts to think of other things to control himself. Which it wasn't top hard considering he had a lot to do as a land owner.
Parvati could handle things, and he hasn't been out in so long, he still couldn't help but wonder. Was the Inlet still safe? Plus, he had the looming decision about the Prairie to think about. That, and his thoughts of sending his Princess to the Hills. So much to do. Blue eyes finally fall back on Ella.
"Allow me to tell you some things about this island." Maybe this would be enough of a distraction.
"You are on the main island as I like to call it. This is the meadow. Very beautiful and safe majority of the time. Just above to the north is the Falls. It is an especially beautiful place."
He couldn't imagine finding her against the waterfall.
"If you go further north you will find the Peak which is probably that safest place you could be. It is beautiful mountains ran by all females." Yes, that would be the best place aside from his own home. Or so he'd like to think.
"But don't go south from here. The next area is called the Commons and very dangerous. Any stallion can force you home without rights." He would hate to see that happen to her.
"Even further south is the Lagoon run by all stallions. Very dangerous especially this time of the year." He hopes she understood what he meant.
"My home is all the way north. You have to cross the sea at the Peak to get there. The Inlet is the furthest north part of Tinuvel." He smiles lightly.
"I hope you can come see it one day in your exploration. Though be very careful walking into the homes of stranger's. They could claim you and keep you there." Was it a warning about him? Not really. He wasn't into forcing anyone. His small band of mares were all there because they wanted to be. Hopefully his tips helped her no matter where she went next.
"Is there anything you want to know about the islands Ella?" It was safest he let her talk now. Besides, maybe he could steer the topic to helping her rather than thinking about her body.
