Confronting Khar'pern had become her main priority so when she heard about Cullen's appearance weeks later she freaked out. Harmonie was the unfortunate one who got to hear her rant and watch her nervous pacing. Then she challenged to save a captive mare in the Peak who then let her know about a daughter that needed saving too. It took a few months with the Lagoon challenging them back and a vicious cycle of others things until she could finally save Emerson's daughter.

She was finding her body did not heal like it used to. It took longer each time she battled, but her strength was still with her. Now that Saphris was saved she could focus on a conversation with Vogue. She has seen the golden colt following her and knew him to be the one Cullen tried to snatch. Sore limbs carry her to the bottom of the mountain where she calls for her sister. They had both successfully (along with Harmonie) saved Ryvar from becoming a captive. That alone was enough reason to speak with her.

The new wounds Clarity bore told the story of her recent battles. It was this last one that had truly pushed her to her limits. Fighting the Lagoon and then a random suiter was enough to make an old gal regret waking up the next morning.
