GUIDELINES
common sense, really
i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
There's no sunshine, only darkness

In an Insane world,
it is the sane who are called crazy
Lumalee

Darkness was his best friend. Usually his nights went one or two ways; he slept forever under the stars or he walked the quiet land. He enjoys no one to bother him, which the night often provides, but also he enjoys sleep. Sometimes his body just needs it and he could be out for an entire day. His odd sleep patterns were probably why he had barely spoken to the Prairie herd. He has barely even seen Lir lately.

The stallion shrugs his light golden shoulders as he makes his way away from the rest of the herd. They were all settling in for bed, some already asleep, and he was awake. At least awake enough for one of his midnight strolls across the vast prairie. He would have passed by without a word to anyone if he hadn't of heard the mare's distress. Honestly he was not the hero type so why bother stopping?

He did so anyway. His droopy eyes rise to meet her gaze as he stops just a few hoof steps away. "Bad day? He asks in a deep monotone voice. He pays no mind to her sleeping children nor did he really know they were there. His only focus was the mare with the sad voice.
