Remi hated how she had left things with her friend. She knew the bay mare was hurting, both physically with her shoulder and dealing with the loss of her sight, Remi had tried to help her as much as she could but the mare had just kept pushing her away. She thought she understood but maybe she didn’t, the more she tried to help, the more angry Addi became, maybe she was trying to do too much.
Remi was still so young than she thought her inexperience might be the cause for her confusion, she certainly didn’t set out to end up caring for another, she could barely care for herself let alone another but she also hadn’t been able to leave her to fend for herself. She knew Addison was strong, even if the bay mare didn’t realise it herself.
She wasn’t really walking in any real direction, more trying to clear her mind but stopped dead when she heard giggling. Her ears swivelled to find two youngster, they were younger than her but not by much, yearlings maybe which only put them a year below her own age. She hadn’t really interacted with anyone since coming here, other than Addison of course, her eyes widen when she caught sight of the two fillies, twins she realised. She’d never met twins before, actually she’d never met anyone younger than her either.
