The link below makes the case for Patrick Reed. No, he's not close on the points, but there are only four tournaments a year when LIV golfers can get points.... which only shows how good DeChambeau is playing that he could finish 6th against guys who are playing 25 to 30 events to his 4.
I don't know if Reed is a cancer in the locker room, but he is definitely someone who can get inside his opponent's head. He's definitely a guy I would rather have on my team than have to play against. Again I compare him to Poulter. Poulter was a scrappy little f***ker who always seemed to make the big putt and then would shout and pump his fist. It always made me want to knock his block off. I think Reed can do that to the Euros.
And his Ryder Cup record, even though he played on teams that lost, was better than most everyone else on the USA team.
As for co-captains - anyone know why Paul Azinger isn't more involved in Ryder Cup anymore? He has masterful when he led the team at Valhala.
