Many years ago, I was in a Graduate Business Ethics class with a player who played at a Connecticut fronton during the strike. He actually did a presentation on it and how several players would tank to get out of the money.

Around 1989-90, I went to said fronton a lot, and this was suspected and this confirmed it. We used to look for cues to see if these players were going to play or not. That didn't exactly work, lol.

Out of respect to former player, I will not name names but this person has unfortunately passed away anyway.
