So, a fur farmer sold his remaining stock of 500 foxes to Save a Fox Rescue. Foxes are mostly solitary creatures that have ranges of anywhere from 2 to 20 miles. However, these poor creatures have been kept all their lives packed together into very small cages with their siblings, with hardly any room to move or turn around.
The rescue operation is ongoing and obviously very expensive. New, large enclosures and fenced-in yards needed to be built. Medical and food costs are high and ongoing.
My donation went towards building much larger temporary enclosures on a different (non-fur) farm, for the last to be rescued, before they go to permanent adopters.
So, I got to name 3 of them. 1 male and 2 females.
The male is now named Inaki after the MC player!
Why did I pick Inaki? Firstly, I love his singles attacking playing style, when he is fully healthy. Secondly, I think he has the best fox name out of the roster. Manu and Laloo were runnerups for best fox names.
