You are assuming that Steev is my friend. He happens to be somewhat of a noteworthy individual and there's a lot of info available online about him. It's obvious that you do not like him.

As for the Calder tryouts, Steev just did what frontons have been doing forever. They hire who they want to hire. In the years before the strike there were many players who were better than the ones who received contracts. Magic City initially hired a whole bunch of inexperienced college athletes and trained them to play jai alai. The best players don't always get contracts, and I agree that it's not a fair practice.
