Fool the fool, who thinks they are fooling you Posted on September 25, 2025 at 07:03:38 AM by Caine
Caine had watched his father and uncle standing together long enough to know they would be there for some time. "Watch over your sister. Keep an eye on your sister. Blah blah blah." He mocked under his breath, turning away from where he'd been spying from to move out across the territory. Caine didn't have anywhere in particular in mind, aside from doing the opposite he was told. Zestial wasn't his responsibility, so why was he always strapped with it?
When the gangly yearling came to the shore, not for the first time he looked out across the cool waters to the crossing. Wondering and imagining what all he might find there. Glancing back over his shoulder, making sure his mother wasn't eyeing him from somewhere like she did sometimes, Caine eased off into the chilly waters and begun his first swim.
Thankfully from Tinuvel it wasn't very far, and the closer he got to the crossing the more the water warmed. But the first thing he admired as he climbed ashore, was just how lush and green everything was. The young stallion nearly forgot to shake the salt water from himself, but managed before he walked further inland to see what else he mind find. Replies:
