The first variation I heard on that was back in 1988 in reference to Ignacio, a replacement backcourter during the strike. He was huge, and the line was "If it was a twinkie, he would have got it". I suppose it's like listening to an overplayed rock song. If you have not heard it in a long time, then it can be entertaining.
