On-site Medical Help

This post reminds me of a question I always had: Upon a player injury on-court, why, throughout history, have we never seen the appropriate medical personnel attend to the player?

A player gets hit or injures himself - what we always see next are the players, judges and maybe the players manager all walk to the player to provide comfort. None of these concerned individuals have any necessary training in what is now needed. A moment is required and then the compromised player struggles to remove himself from the court.

Im reminded of a video I saw of Rastock playing in one Orlando matinee. Ivan hooks a rebote and Rastock is hit in the helmet. Rastock naturally goes down. What you see next are 6 of the other 7 players...the 2 judges...and a sauntering Santi Echaniz come to aid Rastock. Now how much help can this crew give to someone with a possible concussion?

Everything always comes down to money and that is probably why frontons (management) throughout time have been deficient in this area.
