Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Such is the nature of evil

He had missed the birth of his first child, would miss another, and he was determined to be there for Pan. She had done a lovely job of watching over Saphris until the Peak had challenged and won her freedom. He hopes the uniquely painted mare would be alright and that their future young would be healthy. Thranduil had though of visiting, but things were still so awkward. He didn't know how to act around her.

In turn, he would pour everything he had into freeing Pan. Their child's life could hang in the balance is the foal turned out to be a girl. Since birthing was near he kept close to Pan. Not right at her side, but close enough that he saw when she finally moved off to find privacy. By now everyone might know their relationship though hopefully he had looked aloaf enough to make them think she was just another mare. They still had to be careful or Garmr might send her away.

It had been awhile now since Pan had wandered off and night had taken its hold over the Lagoon. Thranduil did his best to fight off sleep as heavy eyes rolled and his lids shut every couple of minutes. He would jerk himself awake only to drift again, swaying gently in the night. He continues to do this until Pan's whisper stirs him awake. Ivory ears perk up quickly as wide as glance around. He swore he heard her voice, but he doesn't see her anywhere.

Perhaps it was just instinct...he decides to look around just in case. The smell of birth becomes evident the closer he gets to her location. His legs carry his faster despite the knawing thoughts to keep quiet. He didn't care who else heard he had to get to her.

The pale stallion finally arrives, a ghost in the night, appearing to the two of them I'm shock. His gait was slow, gentle, his eyes wide, and his mouth has gone dry. He didn't notice anything wrong with the foal (he had never seen a newly born foal anyway). As far as he knew they had a healthy foal. "Pan? Are you alright?" His voice was etched with worry for the pain she has just gone through. All of this for him. He does not approach any closer until he knows he is allowed. There was no telling how she may react especially being in the Lagoon.
