You keep turning this into EMS vs Fire because you don’t want to face the obvious. You’d rather do civ assists all day since the ambo is real work. There are whiners on both sides, but only one side is grinding without the “hero” cosplay. Shut down 30% of fire companies and move those EMTs to BLS ambos. That would cut waste, improve coverage, and serve taxpayers better. Funny how so many MAGA Chicago FFs shout about small government and efficiency until it threatens their own roster spots. Culture warriors when it’s convenient, big government when the paycheck depends on it. Keep sucking that teet boys!
