Hi Newdan,
Good luck with the Bills. 4-2 isn't bad, esp considering that narrow margin loss to the Pats.
Interesting that you would apply my observations outside of jai-alai. At one point I wanted to challenge the standard belief that jai-alai's Spec 7 based bias is one-of-a-kind, or at least investigate what else might come close.
Say hello to Yonkers which had extensive files available to DL. Being lousy at documenting my studies (AI can help going forward) I don't have the findings at hand. but basically, 876 is a disaster. As were 87 exacta and 78 quin.
So, high numbers, check.
But consecutive numbers, hard to say. But definitely nowhere near the impact of jai-alai.
Ascending, that's the real issue. Our starting model assuming all at equal ability would have them strung out ascending order at the turn.
So we have to flip that guideline around and be wary of high descending numbers.
Just for fun, I will try to resurrect my Yonkers study. Perfect for NFL on one monitor, research on another.
