I pretty intensely dislike most flavored chips. BBQ especially, but pretty much by other flavoring, too. They all seem very over-seasoned, which is something coming from me, because I like well-seasoned and/or spicy food.
The only seasoned chips I can generally abide are jalapeño potato chips, which are very good dipped in plain sour cream.
Fritos are not very good on their own, but the dip size ones are pretty good with French onion or ranch chip dip.
I agree with sun chips (the basic ones) are underrated.
