Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Saphris looked away from the fork for what felt like a moment, turn the white-laced side of her face upward toward the Peak for which this land of amazons was named. She wondered who had named it and what they were like compared to some of the mares that lived on these slopes now. How did she compare? The blue dun was preoccupied enough with the train of thought that the voice of another female was what startled her back into her body. Saphris hadn't heard her approach, and the tone of the other admonished her for taking up most of the space on the somewhat narrow mountain path.

"Sorry," she blurted, ears twisting back toward her poll. Lowering her head slightly, the young sabino moved fully to the far side of the path to make room for the other. Her hooves shuffled against the stony soil, loosening tiny pebbles from the worn route as she moved. "Didn't mean to block your way.. Sister." It was a clumsy attempt to placate the other female and show her respect. If Saphris was honest, she wasn't sure how often the mares of the Peak actually called each other 'Sister,' but she was new here. With that status, it couldn't hurt but to try and show respect for other, perhaps more seasoned members. Saphris didn't really think the buckskin would push her off the path, but.. maybe it wasn't a joke after all.
