Happy Birthday, Franco (Sunday)
To Stu...and others

I posted something very positive about Magic City, and the fascinating structure that is used for it, and it turns into something rather negative. Not to mention, that the overall play was really good.

During Friday night, someone sat a few seats down from me, and he came over and asked me some questions about the jai alai, namely if they are allowed to catch it off the back wall, and I say yes, and then he asked a few more questions, and I gave him a quick run down. He was brand new to ever seeing jai alai, and he said it was intriguing. He even showed me a flyer for the evening play and said you could wager on it, and believe it or not, even I did not know that. I assume it was simple WIN wagering.

At any rate, it was a nice time (I was there about 2 hours), and at one point there were probably about 60-70 people watching...not bad.

I am still so intrigued with the structure itself, because online, you don't get that vibe. Even though I like full court jai alai, and stopped following MC due to something that happened years ago, I could see myself watching it more. I will be very curious what type of jai alai they inject back to Miami. Any info on that?
