I can see both sides.
According to George R.R.Martin, "What Is Dead May Never Die".
So besides the fact that it's already dead, you could argue that playing 3 times per day with a handful of people in the crowd is also an insult to the sport. So, what's the difference?
OTOH, I can see that for those who just don't like thud-ball, this is the final insult.
Even has some nasty in-your-face Casablanca vibes.
